We’re taking part in 20 for 1 is an initiative in the Sydney area where local restaurants, cafes and specialty food stores contribute to hampers for people who are in need. Twice a week in June members of our team will head to Rozelle to pack and deliver hampers, we initially planned for just one day per week but the enthusiasm was so great we added the second day.
20 for 1 stands for 20 meals for one community along with the postcode of the Balmain peninsula where local residents can nominate someone or a family they know who are in need. It’s wonderful to see a community band together to support one another like this and when we saw that one of our team members, who lives in the area nominated it we couldn’t wait to take part.
